Meeting of the Intellectual Awareness Unit at Jeddah International College to Promote National Identity and Belonging

As part of Jeddah International College’s efforts to enhance national identity and strengthen loyalty and belonging among its students and staff, the Intellectual Awareness Unit held a meeting on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, attended by the College Dean, Dr. Tarek Hamdi, the General Manager, Mr. Yazeed Al-Tounsi, and the Vice Dean, Dr. Mai Al-Ashoul, along with members of the supervisory and executive committees of the Intellectual Awareness Unit.

The meeting was attended by representatives from key departments, including the Community Partnerships Department, the Student Affairs Department, and the Discipline Committee. During the session, ideas and proposals were presented to promote national loyalty and belonging among the college’s students and staff.

Two major initiatives were discussed and reviewed during the meeting:

🔸 “Mashael” Initiative: Aims to highlight inspiring figures who have made a positive impact in society by sharing their stories of creativity and contribution, serving as a source of inspiration for others to continue the path of excellence.

🔸 “Bashaer” Initiative: Focuses on showcasing the latest developments in the nation’s progress by highlighting new systems, ideas, and achievements that shape a brighter future for the Kingdom and embody the spirit of renewal and prosperity.

The meeting also addressed a review of the college’s Code of Conduct and Discipline Regulations, exploring ways to further develop them in line with the educational environment’s needs and to reinforce values and behavioral discipline among students.

This meeting reaffirms Jeddah International College’s commitment to instilling national values and fostering an educational environment that combines awareness, belonging, and creativity.
