Meeting on the Kingdom’s Domestic and International Efforts in the Field of Human Rights

The Law Department at Jeddah International College hosted an awareness session delivered by Mr. Zaidi Al-Ruwaili, General Director of the Human Rights Commission branch in the Makkah Region.

The session aimed to familiarize law students with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s efforts and active role in the field of human rights.

The event was attended by nearly 110 male and female law students, during which avenues for partnership and collaboration between the College and the Commission were discussed. The agreement included providing students with the opportunity to visit the Commission’s shelters and beneficiary service centers, as well as opening the door for their participation in volunteer work within the activities and initiatives of the Human Rights Commission.

This cooperation comes as a way to enhance students’ practical experience and support their future opportunities to secure distinguished careers in the fields of law and human rights.
