Overview

Industrial engineering is a branch of engineering and one of the important disciplines in the field. It is concerned with the science of mechanical design and various manufacturing and production processes as well as all necessary stages such as planning, assembly, testing, analysis, processing and development to have the best value at the lowest cost while taking into consideration the human and economic factors from a perspective that establishes a practical and effective industrial organization.
It covers systems engineering, quality, supply chains, human process engineering, preventive maintenance and safety, facility planning and the work environment. Industrial engineers are interested in designing, operating, and analyzing industrial and service production systems to reduce production costs, increase efficiency, improve the quality of products and services, ensure the health and safety of workers, protect the environment, and comply with government regulations.

ADMISSION CRITERIA

  1. The student must have obtained at least 80% in the high school certificate (science track) or its equivalent 
  2. The Certificate Equivalency Letter from the Ministry of Education must be provided in case the student obtained a high school certificate from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  3. The student must not be registered in another university or college.
  4. The student must pass the English placement test and any other tests determined by the college as one of the admission requirements.
  5. The student must be medically fit.
